Cynthia Cox-Roman is CEO of WIT Consulting LLC, a Washington DC-based firm that provides market research and strategic consulting services to a wide range of corporate and nonprofit clients. She has conducted hundreds of studies to help organizations understand their stakeholders, chart a strategic path, develop resonant messaging, create effective programs, and evaluate success.
Prior to founding WIT, Cindy was a partner at Yankelovich Partners, the social trend research firm, where she headed up its NY Custom Research Practice. Before that, as vice-president at Y&R, she was responsible for consumer insights and strategy for global advertising campaigns. Cindy began her career in political and public policy research, analyzing the views of stakeholders and the general public on local and national issues.
Cindy serves on the board of HelpAge USA, a global nonprofit focused on the needs of older adults in low and middle income countries, and is a Global Ambassador for HelpAge International. She is also a trustee of CLICC, an organization that uses literacy and mentoring to strengthen relationships between incarcerated parents and their children.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and a Master of Arts in Gerontology at the University of Southern California.
