Dorothy is a Research Fellow at the International Centre for Evidence on Disability at The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) with close links to LSHTM’s Maternal, Adolescent Reproductive and Child Health Centre. For her background, she is a US Occupational Therapist who received her Bachelors in Occupational Therapy at Boston University in 2003 and her Masters in Public Health at LSHTM in 2008. She has over 14 years’ experience working in the US, UK and in low and middle income countries across Africa and Asia.  Before joining LSHTM, she worked in various rehabilitation settings in America, Australia and UK, volunteered with rehabilitation and health NGOs in South Africa, Kenya and India, and worked on disability, rehabilitation and inclusion at Handicap International through primary & secondary research and policy & advocacy work.
