Dr. Brown is board certified in Pediatric Pulmonology and General Pediatrics. She pursued her undergraduate education at Emory University, medical education at Temple University, and received a Masters’ Degree in bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed both her Pediatric residency and Pediatric Pulmonology fellowship at Columbia University – New York Presbyterian.

She is Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at New York Medical College. Dr. Brown is Director of the Medical Student Education Program in Pediatric Pulmonology and Director of the Summer Professional Student Program in Pediatric Pulmonology. She plays an active role in the Children’s Environmental Health Center of the Hudson Valley and recently became one of the first Children’s Environmental Health Scholars awarded by New York State. She joined Boston Children’s Health Physicians in 2015. She enjoys teaching trainees at all levels which is how she spends a great deal of her non-clinical time.

Some of her special interests in clinical medicine include: asthma, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary management of children with complex medical conditions, pediatric bioethics, children’s environmental health and integrative therapies for asthma management. She is a sub-investigator on many research trials performed in her division. She is also a believer of wellness in the workplace and is working closely with her division to develop and implement a wellness curriculum. She lives in Irvington, NY with her husband and three children.
