MPA in Health Policy & Management
Jocelyn Howard recently completed an MPA with a specialization in health policy and management at NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service, where she was also a contributing editor at the Wagner Review, the school’s student publication.
Previously, Jocelyn was manager of public health planning & partnerships for a local health department in Pinellas County, Florida. She coordinated a community health improvement initiative that facilitates collaboration between different sectors of the healthcare field. Jocelyn led a health needs assessment in Pinellas to assess social and economic factors that influence wellbeing.
Jocelyn has also worked as a researcher and patient advocate in New York City. She graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Anthropology and Hispanic Studies and has contributed to the Journal of Community Health, the Health Leads blog, City Limits magazine, and the Tampa Bay Times.
