Neena Joshi

Director of Programs, Heifer Nepal

Neena Joshi is a development professional working in the field of community development with over 20 years’ experience. She started her career with Heifer International Nepal in 2000, journeyed together in the growth of Nepal Program and currently she serves as Director of Programs and provides leadership in program development, management and quality assurance, targeted towards alleviation of hunger and poverty and care for earth. She has also provided oversight to Heifer programs in India, Bangladesh and Shi Lanka. Her area of expertise includes women empowerment, social mobilization, and mainstreaming value chain and market system approaches for economic growth. She has been engaged in various research initiatives relating to social capital, child nutrition and gender.
